Awareness in Action: Bright Sky on Campus

We are pleased to share the Request for Proposals for the WRCOS Bright Sky on Campus Grant

FUNDING

This $150,000 grant supports Domestic Violence Awareness in conjunction with Bright Sky, a unique, community-based tool that gives friends, peers, educators, and students resources to recognize domestic violence and respond safely. By sharing this app across campuses within the Western Region, we can take meaningful, practical steps to address the urgent public health crisis of domestic violence.

Grant Amounts: $4000 per applicant | Multiple grants available to WACC member campuses

2026-27 AmeriCorps Program

We are pleased to share the Request for Proposals for the 2026-27 Program Year

FOCUS AREAS

For 2026-27, we will be prioritizing applications focusing on K-12 Academic EngagementCollege/University Student Success, and Medical/Mental Health focus areas. While we welcome proposals from all previous focus areas, this year's program is smaller and will be more competitive. Projects in focus areas outside of Education will be awarded if space permits.

TIMELINE

Proposal review is underway. We will continue reviewing proposals on a first come first serve basis until all positions are filled. Interested applicants should apply as soon as possible. The anticipated program start date is September 1, 2026
